The truth of the matter is the reverse, according to the State Board of Health, which quotes figures showing that whoop ing cough is fatal in twenty-five per- cant of all cases, while from live to fifteen years it is fatal only in foui* percent} Measles is fatal in nineteen percent of all the cases from one to three years, while it is only one per-1 cent fatal from fotir to five years.
